Book of the Fortnight #2 – Airline: Identity, Design and Culture

From last fortnight’s look at home interiors, we move on to airline interiors. This book covers well, the identity, design and culture of airlines over the years. Filled with wonderfully entertaining retro photos of air hostesses, planes and frankly, quite scary looking close-ups of airline food.

Airline style might not immediately sounds like the most interesting of topics but this turns out to be quite a fascinating little look over the years. Worth a peek if only to see interior shots of Hugh Hefner’s private jet from the 70’s.
